Areas of interest/expertise: As Chair, Communications & Media at Centennial College, Barry is responsible for a diverse portfolio of certificate, diploma, degree and graduate certificate programs. His areas of expertise include communications, curriculum development, teaching and learning, and diversity and inclusion. He holds a Master of Public Relations from Mount St. Vincent University. Prior to joining Centennial College, Barry spent 20 years in the public relations industry and currently serves on the Canadian Public Relations Society’s National Education Council and the Council on PR Education, and the international advisory group.
Personal Interests/extra-curricular activities: Barry is active in community initiatives including as a member of the Board of Directors of the AIDS Committee of Toronto. His interests include travel, reading, current affairs.
