Ontario College Application Service (OCAS)
OCAS is the link between postsecondary applicants and Ontario’s public colleges. Specializing in applicant engagement, shared technology, and trusted industry intelligence, our products and services include:
|ontariocolleges.ca is the information hub for researching and applying to Ontario’s colleges, featuring a searchable database of programs and a secure, centralized college application.
|The College System Data Warehouse is a trusted source of data analysis and self-serve business intelligence in the college system. Ontario’s colleges, as well as boards, high schools, government agencies, researchers and other groups, all benefit from data insights and emerging trends in the college system.|
|The Electronic Transcript Management System (eTMS) is designed to simplify the transcript request and delivery process for high school graduates, staff and college administrators. eTMS eliminates the need to mail paper copies of transcripts, by offering secure, efficient, low-cost transcript delivery, at three levels of automation.|
Through the Customer Contact Centre, OCAS’ Client Services team offers frontline support, assisting applicants via telephone, email, click-to-chat and social media. The team is also responsible for processing roughly 200,000 applications every year and providing centralized document management and delivery, streamlining the application process for high schools, colleges and applicants.
In addition to applicant support, the Client Services team is the direct line of contact between OCAS and college and high school partners, working to improve, enhance and expand the organization’s portfolio of shared technology products and services.
Decision Support Services
OCAS’ Decision Support Services team assists partners with support by phone, email and onsite training for the College System Data Warehouse. They also support ad-hoc statistical inquiries and collaboration on custom project work. They have cultivated rich partnerships with Ontario’s colleges, boards and high schools and other key organizations in the education industry, and provide regular enrolment and application cycle communications and reports to partners.
OCAS’ Marketing team assists in promoting the value of an Ontario college education through online and social media presence, print and electronic publications, and collaboration with the colleges.
OCAS is also an avid supporter of college system activities, participating in both applicant-centric events such as the College Information Program (CIP) and Skills Canada, as well as professional events including OSCA and College Dialogues.
