  • Provide OCASA appointments and representation to the CAAT Pension Plan, Insured Benefits Committee for Admin Staff,  Retirees’ Advisory Committee on Group Insured Benefits
  • Advocate best terms & conditions for administrative staff
  • Support a network for professional growth and exchange
  • Support and enhance professional development opportunities
  • Provide ongoing support through legal services, research, provincial consultation/representation, awards & bursaries

Who can join?

Full Members:

All administrators employed in Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology or Institutes of Technology and Advanced Learning are eligible to join OCASA, including part-time, contract and full-time administrative staff. There is NO minimum length of service for membership. College presidents are not eligible to join OCASA. Learn more!

Associate Members:

Associate Membership in the Association is open to administrative employees in publicly-funded Ontario colleges and institutes that do not fall under the CAAT system but share common interests in the professional development, research and employee advocacy. The Executive Committee shall determine associate membership on a case-by-case basis. Associate members are non-voting members. Learn more!

Retiree Members:

Any administrative retiree from the CAAT system may become a retiree member (whether or not you were an OCASA member at the time of retirement). Learn more!
