Members can be assured that the client privilege of confidentially is maintained when accessing legal services. OCASA only receives an aggregate report of services rendered with no identifying information. When members choose to call the OCASA office first (often to discuss eligibility) all calls are held in the strictest confidentiality.

When members choose to call the OCASA office first (often to discuss eligibility) all calls are held in the strictest confidentiality.
Eligibility
A minimum of three (3) months membership may be required to access legal services. In the case where non-members would like to access legal services, one year’s membership must be paid in advance. Legal matters that do not fall within the OCASA legal service policy will not be eligible. For complete information, please consult the Legal Services Access Form which includes the policy statement. How do I access this service?
Complete the Legal Services Access Form with all relevant information. Send by email or fax directly to the law firm, as noted on the form. By first outlining the matter in writing, the lawyer can more efficiently and effectively discuss the matter during the first phone consultation. All contact information for the lawyer is contained in the Legal Services Access Form.
To access legal services, complete the form providing any relevant information, then send by fax or email directly to the lawyer (contact information included in form). You can expect a call back from the lawyer with 24 hours.
