Ella Forbes-Chilibeck, Lawyer with Nelligan O’Brien Payne, has just been named the 2012 recipient of the Co-Operators Vision Award for Outstanding Human Resources Volunteer for her work providing leadership to the Mentoring Committee of the HRPA in the Ottawa region. The Award was announced during the 10th Vision Awards Gala, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Ottawa Convention Centre.
Under Ella’s leadership the mentoring program has been initiated and grown, bringing significant contribution to the professional growth of HR professionals. OCASA provided a letter of support for this nomination recognizing the significant effort Ella provides in developing and presenting webinars to OCASA members, largely at no cost to OCASA.
Co-Operators Vision Award for Outstanding Human Resources Volunteer: This award recognizes a Human Resources professional or team of professionals who, through volunteer involvement, have made a contribution to the advancement, promotion or development of the human resources profession beyond their organization and/or have made a significant contribution, in matters pertaining to human resources, while volunteering for an organization.
