The mission of the Ministry of Finance is to establish an environment that will ensure a dynamic, innovative and growing economy, and to manage the fiscal, financial and related regulatory affairs of the Province of Ontario. The ministry administers the tax statutes, tax credits and benefit programs of Ontario. The tax revenues collected provide the fiscal foundation upon which many of the province’s programs are based.
