Experience in College System: 19 years – 8 years in an Academic/Campus Services support staff role including Executive Assistant to the VP Academic and Student Success, 8 years in Administration as an Academic Manager for Business and Science programs and in her current role as a Campus Manager, Northern College, Haileybury Campus.
Areas of Interest/Expertise: In her various roles and current role at Northern College, Tammy has overseen Advising Services, Student Services, Facilities, Employment programs, Learning Resource Centers, Student Conduct and Student Life. She is a member of the provincial Colleges Ontario committee Heads of Student Affairs. Tammy is a strong advocate for the holistic student experience. She is very dedicated to the continuous improvement of the college experience for students. She has held various positions on College-wide committees including the Northern College Board of Governors as an internal governor. Tammy is a Director for the Temiskaming Shores and Area Chamber of Commerce and is the Chair of the Education Committee, a sub-committee of the Chamber of Commerce.
Tammy has her B.A Honours from Trent University, has completed the Ontario Management Development Certificate and is currently enrolled in Colleges Ontario Leadership Excellence program.
Personal Interests/Extra-Curricular Activities: Running, staying active, new experiences/adventures, decorating, old movies, history and spending time with family and friends.
