Experience in college: 6 years – Administration

Areas of Interest/expertise: Prior to coming to the College system, I was a teacher and administrator in the elementary and secondary systems. In both of those roles, I enjoyed a high level of continuous learning through self-directed and system professinal development. As a result, I have strong interest and belief in continued professional learning as being key to an effective teaching and learning environment. As well, I believe that my prior experience assists me in being supportive of my Faculty and staff as they further their understanding of the changing demographics of students.

Personal interests/extra-curricular activities: I enjoy anything family-related, cooking, reading and a variety of outdoor pursuits like kayaking, hunting and fishing.
