Areas of interest/expertise: Holding various roles in academic administration within the Ontario post-secondary system, Sara has led diploma and degree studies, academic advising, university/college partnerships, health sciences continuing education, corporate training and simulation-based educational initiatives. Sara’s experience includes managing academic programming and services, facilitating partnerships, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders and teaching instructional design and various other courses within the Ontario College system. Sara’s numerous roles have included the development of new academic programs, leading faculty and support teams, and managing student advising services. In 2015 Sara was awarded the Georgian College Board of Governors Employee Entrepreneurial Award.
Sara has completed credentials from Sheridan College, the University of Waterloo, and completed her Masters Degree in Education from Athabasca University in 2014.
Personal Interests/extra-curricular activities: Restoring furniture, fashion, decorating, vegetable gardening, spending time with her children, husband and their miniature dachshund Louie.
